Obama wants more wars than Gary Johnson, but not as many as Romney, because Obama wants to use part of the money that doesn't exist for the biggest favor ever to doctors, nurses, treatment center operators, Big Pharma, medical device makers, etc. Besides the most wars, Romney was also praising big oil at a debate. Romney said "marijuana" (cannabis) isn't an important issue, when legalize it is #1 request coming in to the whitehouse.gov site & there are 126 medical conditions where it sometimes works better than pills, keeps away thoughts of suicide & oil form cures cancer & more.

Gary Johnson would propose to Congress cutting everything 43% as he's for the 100% equally and is running for president for unselfish reasons & most definitely can't be bought. Various people (without a conscience, it seems) are keeping him out of many debates & out of some polls. Now Obama is flip-flopping like Romney, claiming he has changed & now sides with Gary Johnson on some main issues.

Gary Johnson would present a balanced budget to Congress. He would abolish Dept of Educ, & IRS. Only Federal taxes would be 23% sales tax with likely exemptions for business to business, used items, most food & poor ($200 monthly exemption), plus a 100% tax on cannabis ("marijuana") that would make it 90% cheaper, and bring in double digit billions. Plus ending the drug war to save $40+B a year. Gary Johnson sides with the majority on major issues. He'd win even if he didn't get into debates if people voted only by issues. How Libertarian are you? The test ISideWith dot com

I'm so frustrated that 80% if the people I talk to say they never heard of Gary Johnson or haven't taken the time to study his issues positions & the man himself. He's hard-working, honest, kind, & smart. Gary is wealthy, but is frugal, & will talk to anyone. Talking to every kind of group about what they want & he listens & he has people polling voters about what they want. He has no hate. He enjoys very difficult challenges. Some of the latest videos are exciting & inspirational. Best wishes, all!

The over 55 has put their money where their mouth is for over 35 years and Obama strips Medicare funding to support obama care then turns around and accuses Ryon of doing it. Young people the Ryan act allows you an out take it and embrace it while you protect the money the people who have paid into it.

First off your talking about a 70-year-old yet the title of your thread states 55+. There is a ton of difference. Those of us in our 50's were small toddlers when this man was most probably serving his country in a conflict overseas during a period when the draft was still in force. He most probably was a contributing member of society who paid SS without fail. He probably was fighting for the freedom which you now take for granted and the rights for you to post your opinions, no matter how stupid. I thank him for his service and his dedication to this country. So while your still whining and peeing in your pampers cause you don't like the way things are perhaps you should also look up the meaning of shared sacrifice.

You probably worship giant government with 1000% more government employees than we could ever need or pay for.
Older folks have a memory of government working for the people and not having people in the government feeling the people work for them, or that they could have death panels under Obama care to ration health care.

When you talk numbers with the military and you talk budget, remember that only a third of the money America spends is what you call "ON BUDGET". When you put EVERYTHING on budget things look very different and the military shrinks by fare compared with entitlements to the non-elderly or disabled.

LOL If the OP "eavesdropped" on a conversation about Obama lovers, would he be getting as much flack for being upset?

By the way, when people die (usually the older ones) their estates are taxed to hell and back through the death tax to the government despite the fact that the estate they had was already grown after they paid taxes on that money.

TAX TAX TAX TAX...

Makes no sense. So they do put their money where their mouth is not only by their sacrafices in life for their families but also through the consfiscation of their property by the governmnet after death.

When do we get around to the real two problems?

#1 Shrinking the heck out of government and the number of attached employees and...
#2 Denying access to all but the disabled and elderly long term regarding social programs (EBT, WELFARE) and all that?

In response to RCCCB - Hopefully never.

1. The government will grow as large as Corporate America desires it to be.
2. Social Security protects the people selling goods and services to the elderly.
