He is already saying that republicans will blame conservatives when they lose. He also said its the end of the GOP if they lose. He was so depressed about all the great Obama news today. All the polls and then this

The G.O.P. have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
They alienated the delegates of Ron Paul.
They alienated the "Grassroots".
They alienated the Tea'd Partisans.
They alienated the Conservatives.
They won't get support from the "recipient class".
And they are too stupid / arrogant to care.

I'm listening to Rush and he's saying the opposite. He's making fun of conservatives who are wringing their hands over Obama and citing various elections where polls showed the Democrat ahead and the election went for the other guy some with big differences.

Yep. The last thing Rush really wants is a GOP administration. Who would he blame everything on then? It's much better business for Rush and Fox when there's a Democrat in office, no matter what lip service they give otherwise.

Good point. Most conservative media blowhards tend to rise to prominence during a Democratic administration.

Jerry Falwell during the Carter years

Rush during the Clinton years

Glenn Beck during the Obama years

It's much easier to profit on people's fears when a guy they don't like is in the White House.
