An excuse for a major Western takeover of Egypt and Libya?
"An anti-Muslim film that has been blamed for the attacks on U.S. embassies in Egypt, Libya and Yemen is likely a contrived fraud designed to stir up unrest in the Middle East.
A trailer for the film, entitled The Innocence of Muslims, has been on You Tube for over two months.
Despite the alleged film maker’s claim that the movie was funded by rich Jewish donors to the tune of $5 million dollars, it has all the quality of a low budget film school project.
Indeed, the full film itself may not even exist, a doubt that has also been shared about the existence of its shadowy director Sam Bacile, who told the Associated Press this week that he was a 56-year-old “Israeli Jew” who lives in California.
Bacile claims he made the film to illustrate how “Islam is a cancer, period.” However, numerous authorities have failed in attempting to locate a ‘Sam Bacile’ residing in California.
The movie itself – or the 14 minutes of it which have been released – is also highly suspect. Actors involved in filming were told “they were appearing in a film about the life of a generic Egyptian 2,000 years ago.”
“The entire cast and crew are extremely upset and feel taken advantage of by the producer. We are 100% not behind this film and were grossly misled about its intent and purpose,” the statement says.
The film has been purposely dubbed and edited to elicit maximum outrage from Muslims. The Prophet Muhammad is depicted as a pedophile, a homosexual, a religious phony, a philanderer, a womanizer and a bloodthirsty dictator.
As Cindy Lee Garcia, an actress involved in the movie, told Gawker, “In the script and during the shooting, Muhammed wasn’t even called Muhammed; he was “Master George.”
As the Christian Science Monitor summarizes, the film looks like, “it could have been ginned up by someone sitting a basement with cheap dubbing software.”
Everything about the movie suggests it was a contrived fraud to artificially manufacture unrest in the middle east at a time where speculation that the U.S. and Israel are about to launch military interventions in Iran and Syria is rife.
“Those sniffing the air properly smell some sort of intelligence/influence operation in the whole situation,” writes Daniel McAdams, comparing the film to Kony 2012. “A purposely bad cover for what happened in Benghazi yesterday?
You know, I'd normally say, right before election time, it's one of those foreign affairs moves to make Obama look tough like Clinton bombing the aspirin factory but if that was the intention, I'm not seeing the desired results yet. In fact, during the DNC I was thinking Obama was going to pull something fake to make him look good in the foreign affairs area and take the attention away from his bad job on the economy but again, he's not looking good on this whole affair so either something was botched in its execution or I'm all wet on my guess.
I see one of the killed people is described as a former navy seal. That's a funny way to describe him as "former" anything. What was he when he was killed?
The person I'd like to hear from is David Petraeus --- I don't know if he's a Republican or Democrat.
I just know one thing. If Romney becomes President he needs to clean out the State Department and get rid of as many long-timers as he can. You can't fold the State Department but you can clean house and those long timers need to go, not just the political appointees.

If that movie had been floating around for so many months, then why did it NOW come out (on September 11, 2012) as the sole factor for them going bat$hit crazy over there?
No. I'm not buying it. They riot and wail and cry, bomb crap, and cut off heads over Mohammad cartoons, Salman Rushdie, South Park, etc. this movie is just ONE MORE THING, they've decided to "make their battle cry".
The world should just decide that they're lost, brainwashed, inconsolable and need to be put outta their misery like a dog with rabies for the safety of the entire world. They are extremely dangerous, and when Iran gets that nuke operational, they'll make sure the first place they provoke with it is Israel. They don't need to launch it, just the very idea that they have one, and will use it will be enough to destabilize the entire region.
There is obviously a serious problem with tolerance in the Middle East. Obviously many of the people there cannot tolerate criticism without reacting violently. There are many serious problems there and there have been for many, many decades. The best thing the U.S. can do is to disassociate itself from Israel and not get involved with events over there. We're not going to be able to "manage" them in any meaningful way to bring about ideological change and intervention attempts will backfire - they have always backfired and that's why we are singled out as an enemy!
Libya is the primary nation that is on the hook here. They need to act quickly to show they are going to capture and punish those responsible. The other countries where people are rioting...let them riot, but away from U.S. embassies and citizens and let their governments deal with it internally. Libya is on the hook though and needs to act fast and decisively.
This high school grade trailer (no real movie?) was trotted out as an excuse for the rioting. Perhaps Al Qaeda, whom we supported in their quest to oust legitimate leaders such as Mubarak and Gaddafi, are now showing their true colors - or the false flag op was launched to justify an upcoming escalation of Western involvement in Syria and Iran.
