You're fixated on a specific act and totally ignoring the larger issue of policy failure in regards to the Arab Spring movement, failure you fault Obama for, yet you won't even talk about it. And, you're still regurgitating the lie that the Marine guards did not have live ammunition, completely ignoring the fact that the Corps itself said that is not true.

I notice, though, that since my last post, you've dropped the apology bullet point.

Romney: Anti-Muslim film dispiriting, wrong - Political Hotsheet - CBS News

NOT AT ALL!!!!

Romney was QUICK to condemn the apologies issued by the Cairo Embassy.

Romney DOUBLED-DOWN on that the next day.

The Obama Administration is STILL stuck on stupid saying that this was all about a film when the FACTS show that it was all about the Blind Shiek being held by the USA.

Perhaps you've missed me talking about it in many posts in this thread.

Perhaps you should start from the OP?

Why would I repeat myself simply because you haven't read the entire thread?

This is clearly ALL Obama's fault, you tell the world jt800! All you need is this one incident as proof.

For starters, his Cairo speech laid down the tone of "can't we all just get along?" and "see how much I understand the Middle East" when pretty much the Middle East response to that speech was "no Mr. President you don't understand us and don't tell us what to do (except for countries which receive money from us)". His support of various groups in Arab Spring, including the Libyan war support and the ongoing Syrian support for the protesters, which isn't going well and isn't sitting well with other countries. In fact, we apparently were backing the wrong side. His very apparent lack of support for Israel and Saudi Arabia isn't helping things either. At least Carter got Egypt and Israel together.

To Obama's credit, he inherited a LOT of failed policies over the years, but Obama has made things worse, and what we see today is a result of what he did. As I've just typed, you would not have to sit there and deliberate on how to fix a problem if you didn't inflame the problem in the first place.

We shouldn't be trying to fix a problem we don't understand, and may actually not be able to be fixed.

I can now proudly say that I have made jt800's ignore list! Apparently my support for jt800 and Mitt Romney has been too much for him to handle.

Ok, I get it. When Hillary or Obama say the same thing Romney said, it's an apology. But, when Romney says it, it's NOT an apology because he said something else first.

Geez. Following your logic and shifting posts is like tracking a single piece of pasta through 500 lbs of spaghetti.

And now parts of the freed societies are turning against the country which helped bring them into being. Anti-Americanism in the Arab world has even increased to levels greater than in the Bush era. It's a bitter outcome for Obama."

"Obama was naive to believe that one only needed to adopt a new tone and show more respect in order to dispel deep-seated reservations about the free world. In practice, the policies of the Obama administration in the region were not as naive as they may have seemed at times, and the Americans have always been much more involved in the Middle East than the passive Europeans. But Washington has provided the image of a distracted superpower in the process of decline to the societies there. This image of weakness is being exploited by Salafists and al-Qaida, who are active in North Africa from Somalia to Mali."

"One thing is clear: If jihadists believe they can attack American installations and kill an ambassador on the anniversary of Sept. 11, then America's deterrent power has declined considerably. For a superpower, it is not enough just to want to be loved. You have to scare the bad guys to keep them in check."
It's a shame one must go to the foreign press for a critique on Obama.
