Its scary when Russian make more sense than our own politicians. Are we to the left of Soviets now?

Yes, you should worry when communism makes more sense to you than our free market capitalism.

I wouldn't go that far, buddy. Never did never will.
Obama's foreign policies though are clearly ideological more than pragmatic and sustainable. Supporting Arab Spring was a big mistake.
We helped Islamist take over power in few more countries. Any reason to fell good about it?

It's even scarier when Americans give credence to the Voice of Russia.

The best thing we can do is close up the embassies in countries that don't like us.
Why have our hard earned tax dollars going to foreign corrupt dictators or countries that don't like us, like Yemen for example?

My $$$'s squarely on poorly with little/no benefit to the US.

$1 billion dollars..over and above the $1.6 billion we give them and we're going to FORGIVE another $1 billion they owe us.

And McCain is fighting tooth and nail to keep this and pass it. And Hillary is too. And Obama said he'd veto what came to his desk if the US pulls any funding.

Is our government aiding and abetting the enemy here ?
Sure sounds like it.
Add the involvement of our corrupt government propping up the Al Qaeda "rebels" in Syria as well.

Moreso now, than ever, we have the ability to react over long distances should any country or people become a threat.

Your example would have made even more sense in 1812 when it took weeks and months to move armies around for defense. And yet, the founding fathers frowned on it then.

Someone gets killed in their house. Then the cops come. Too late.

Our Military should be both defensive and offensive. It depends on the situation.

If there is a credible threat, should Americans just wait until it happens, or should we be proactive and nip the threat in the bud?

My choice is to get those bastards first.

Libya's response shows clearly they are pro-American. The actions of few murderous radicals does not change it. As for Egypt, there was nothing we could have done to keep Mubarak in power, as the guy is dying of a disease, and was thrown out of the office. We took democracy to Iraq, and I am not sure how that will turn out, but logic suggests that islamists will take control through democracy since 60% of the population is Shiite. We (Bush) pushed for democracy to Palestinian territories, and got our wish, and they elected Hamas to power. It is a terrorist organization, but pushing for democracy is the American thing to do. Too bad the elections in Palestine or in Egypt didn't go our way, but what are you gonna do? There is nothing new going on. This has been US foreign policy for decades, and yes, the Russians have always disagreed. The only thing which has changed is people like you who choose to side with Russians because you are a partisan hack who has to oppose and disagree with everything the US does under a Dem president.
