There are only 14 million Jews in the world; seven million in the Americas , five million in Asia, two million in Europe and 100,000 in Africa . For every single Jew in the world there are 100 Muslims. Yet, Jews are more than a hundred times more powerful than all the Muslims put together. Ever wondered why?

Many Jewish families stress education and success as part of their culture.
Jews are taught often not to blindly follow, but ask questions, investigate things and also look for new ideas.
Many inventions and accomplishments have been made by Jews. Jewish immigrants from all over the world managed to transform a desert into an economic paradise (politics aside).
14 million is a fairly large number and there are plenty of Jews who aren't wealthy, powerful, educated, etc. Being Jewish isn't a ticket to wealth or power in and of itself.

It goes back much further then that. The middle east was left alone after we discovered a route around that region for goods from Asia. So they stopped, they didn't evolve with the rest of the world. The Muslim invasion of Spain didn't help matters.
Jews moved all over the world, because they are an ethnic group, Muslims are not. Islam started spreading its religion, but mainly in poor regions of the globe, because poor people cling to religion and many places it spread didn't want to be Christian, and their old religions had fallen.
Its a very complicated situation, but comparing an ethnic group to a religion is a bad comparisson.

^^^ That.
Most Jewish children are raised to value education, of both the formal and informal variety, and in many families (like my own) it's pretty much expected that you'll achieve a high level of education. Of course being Jewish alone doesn't guarantee success, although being raised with such values and expectations does increase your chances. Case in point, nearly 100% of my family - including extended relatives - have at LEAST a BA/BS, and most have post-graduate degrees. We have among us lawyers, doctors, professors/teachers, librarians, business executives, financial consultants, etc, and I honestly can't think of a single family member who's ever been on welfare.
While I have a Master's Degree myself, I'm not exactly financially successful... but that's only because I chose a profession which is more spiritually & intellectually fulfilling. Or at least that's what they tell us to soften the blow on payday, LOL.

There are Jewish Muslims and Jewish Christians.
You are sort of right, but those people would be of Jewish decent, not actually Jewish. It is both a religion AND an ethnic group. So a Muslim can say his ancestors were Jewish but he cannot be actually Jewish.
But just like there is Greek culture, Italian culture, Chinese culture, there is Jewish culture, which is both influenced by unique Jewish values and strongly by the religion itself.

So no, it's not that complicated or deep at all.
The link posted talked about Albert Einstein, who wasn't a practicing Jew, but was Jewish.
So the man from Pakistan is comparing an ethnic group, to a religious group. There is a difference
When they first migrated to the country in droves, they took advantage of opportunities, such as educational and welfare programs. Their culture puts strong emphasis on learning.

This is a frequent question during prophetic forums. The answer is that He loves them, just like He loves all His creation. But there is certainly a sense in which Bible prophecy seems to focus upon the Jewish people. That's because God called the Jews to be His "chosen people" through whom He would accomplish His master plan for history (Deuteronomy 7:6). It was through the Jewish people that God gave the world His Word. And it was through the Jews that He sent the Messiah.
I remember a talk that the famed, and Jewish, computer scientist Jarod Lanier gave in which he said that he thought the Jews became so successful because the worldview of the Jewish faith was messianic. So unlike religions like Christianity, which believes the world will end in Apocalypse and Judgement Day, and many Native American religions, which believe time is a cycle and we must maintain our place in the world, the Jews believe the future will be better than the past. Messianic thought leads Jews not to remain locked into one, static way of life. Instead, they always strive to make that better future rather then maintaining their place in the natural scheme of things, or seeing the material world as pointless and fleeting. This leads to a culture of progress, that believes in forward momentum and unconsciously that the future will be better even better than what came before.
Just one thought, take it for what it is! Also, the reason people will respond in a hostile way to your thread is because of the history of your idea. Historically, one of the biggest early conspiracy theories was something called "The Elder's of Zion", a made up conspiracy about how an evil cabal of Jews rules the world, a much more exciting but dangerously false answer to the question you just asked. It was in large part responsible for the holocaust and the extermination of half of the world's Jewish population in death camps. Anti-semitism, in large part due to these ideas which are still widespread, is one of our culture's oldest forms of bigotry and it has alot of baggage attached to it. Just be aware of this when you post things like this as you may be surprised to find people associating you with some seriously nasty people who to this day persecute Jews in a million little ways. Anti-Semitic thought certainly is not dead, and it resulted in unspeakable horrors in times gone by.
