The Civil Rights movement's postive results were going to happen with or without government intervention. Conservative Republicans pushed to give it a kick start, but liberal Democrats made it worse for those they say that they are attempting to "help."
This negative outcome makes liberal Democrats look questionable in their motives. As if, maybe they really DO wish to oppress minorities.
Blacks have been voted themselves failure for nearly 50 years. LBJ and the Media convinced them that the Democrats would give them the life they desired via the failed Great Society programs which ended up destroy the black community.

Yea...blacks should've just waited for white acceptance. It would've happened sooner or later. Hell, they'd already waited for a few hundred years....so whats another century or two?

Black women are involved in the movement too,
especially recently.
Black women and feminist have very different concerns. Always have. Feminism has always been about the struggles, issues, and concerns of White American women. Some Black women may have thought that they were involved, until they became aware that they were being used.
Giving blacks free handouts for generations, lowering societies standards instead of demanding more, accepting every excuse that the black community hands out on why they can't get ahead in "the cracker world".....
Giving them more and more taxpayer money for how many children they have....
Listening to racist whites rant on about something that they know very little about....
We can talk about "family" if you want. Liberals are very outspoken in their anti-family postions: Gay marriage. Anti-Christianity. Teen sex. Pre-marital sex. Etc.
All society's problems have a common source: Leftism.
Or the brainwashing of poor republicans who think that their "christian" values should apply to everyone

Take from producers and give to non-producers
Chistianity is evil
marriage is evil (unless it's man to man or woman to woman)
All your problems are the fault of Christians/COnservatives
Nothing is wrong (except Christian or Conservatism)
If you're successful, "you didn't build that."
Hate anyone that challenges the tenets above.
The breakdown of family with these tenets is predictable. Because blacks have fallen prey to the Liberal tenets above, their breakdown has been in a greater %
