Although for all I know, you also probably think the earth is only 6 thousand years old and that man walked with dinosaurs (aka, the Fred Flintstone Theory of Evolution)!
The studies they are citing are flawed, for example just for starters the 97% figure is a grand total of 74 scientists.
Ever notice how the Climate Change Deniers, are usually the same folks who wanna deny rights to blacks, gays, muslims, hispanics, joos, lib-ruls, 'educated elites', 'feminazis', etc.? ..
No. How did you make that connection (other than in your mind)?
I am a bit disappointed, but not surprised that more people did not choose "I don't know."
I really don't think global warming is necessarily behind any large storm. There are many factors. But it appears plenty of Einsteins here are absolutely sure it has no effect on climate. What ignoramuses.

I wonder if it would help if we could transport all of these AGW geniuses to NY/NJ where people have no food, no electricity, and no gas or means to get them....to give them just a sample of the "utopia" that they so zealously advocate.
I think a lot of people are paying attention to this right now because Hurricaine Irene just hit NYC & the east coast last year -an unusual event - and then just one year later Sandy hit it even harder.
People naturally start to wonder if having frequent storms like is the new normal.
And how was Storm Sandy more severe than the hurricanes in 1938 and 1955 which each killed about 200 people? And the one in 1972 killed 122 -- there were many fewer deaths with this storm and the population is much much higher now.
I think what is man-made about these disasters is that so many more people are jam-packed into hurricane prone regions than before, and becoming less self-reliant so that a storm affects them much more. In 1821, no one's electricity went out, in 1938, if the electricity went out, it would have affected many fewer people.
Sandy cost at least $50 billion in damages and economic losses, the most expensive storm in east coast history in economic terms.
we have much better early warning systems and more comprehensive evacuation procedures today then we did back then, so the death toll caused by sandy was kept to a minimum.
if a factory discharges raw chemical wastewater into the river every day what do you think will happen to the wildlife in the river and in the area? all the fishes will die. the deer and animals that drink the water will die. the river empties into the ocean, so those millions of tons of toxic waste eventually goes into the ocean and ends up destroying the life in the ocean. if you put millions of tons of pollutants into the air, it will pollute and poison the air, making it unbreathable. for example, the smog and air pollution in Beijing is so bad on some days you can't see the sun in the middle of a summer day because the smog covers it up.
the idea that man has no effect on his environment (and the climate which is major part of the environment), is utterly stupid. the activities of 7 billion human beings is going to have an impact on the environment one way or the other. to pretend that it doesn't is beyond absurd.
this has been another record-breaking year for heat, drought, forest fires, and now Sandy, the most damaging hurricane to hit the east coast ever recorded so far. do you agree with this article that man-made global warming is at least partly to blame?
...At least 40 U.S. deaths. Economic losses expected to climb as high as $50 billion. Eight million homes without power. Hundreds of thousands of people evacuated. More than 15,000 flights grounded. Factories, stores, and hospitals shut. Lower Manhattan dark, silent, and underwater.
...Global warming “particularly affects formation of heat waves, droughts, intense precipitation events, and in the long run most probably also tropical cyclone intensity,” Munich Re said. This July was the hottest month recorded in the U.S. since record-keeping began in 1895, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The U.S. Drought Monitor reported that two-thirds of the continental U.S. suffered drought conditions this summer.
It is aliens, not global warming. They are using sophisticated equipment to manipulate our weather. This is the truth, this is the fact and I don't need to provide any validation to my claim because if you don't believe me, you are a denier and being paid for by the aliens to keep quiet.
There is no compelling scientific argument for drastic action to “decarbonize” the world’s economy. Even if one accepts the inflated climate forecasts of the IPCC, aggressive greenhouse-gas control policies are not justified economically. . . . Every candidate should support rational measures to protect and improve our environment, but it makes no sense at all to back expensive programs that divert resources from real needs and are based on alarming but untenable claims of “incontrovertible” evidence.
Remember, climate is what you expect - weather is what you get.
Your quote is mainly saying that the particular methods chosen to help the (real) problem of APG may not work. That's a completely different matter from whether APG is happening - I have some doubts myself that the methods will do anything significant.
If you don't think that climatologists (the scientists who study climate) believe in AGW, you might want to contact some of them and ask - of course I mean employees of reputable universities.
