If the shooter was unable to move and travel freely, he never would have made it to the school, or even the gun for that matter.

Let's all come together and call for more brown-shirts!!!!

Exactly. And if we ban guns too, that leaves even more money towards stronger police weapons for them to use against us. Artillery anyone?

yeah its funny to see the same congress criminals decrying civilian gun ownership while rewarding police departments with taxpayer money to purchase military grade weaponry for use against us.

Anyone with a grasp on reality and history is "scared".

This has happened many times before and not once has it ended well.

Suppose you tell us who has proposed banning guns.

The scary part is that no one in any position of power is even talking about banning most guns--only assault weapons. It makes you start wondering about the mental health of the people here, and why people with that type of irrational paranoia should have weapons to begin with. I'm thinking this board is a great example of why we need stronger mental health screening before gun purchases.

Gladly:

Feinstein will introduce assault weapons ban in Senate

Banning any type of gun is a gun ban. Or do you people not understand the definition of 'ban'?

Also, what is it with all of the liberals here throwing the mental health thing around? This is a serious issue and so is mental health. You cant throw things like that around the way the government does the word "terrorist". It eventually ruins lives.

Go ahead. Tell me democide cannot happen in the US. Tell me that our government loves us and would never hurt us, if that's what you truly believe. Keep in mind that this very same government has been doing chemical testing on it's own citizens for the last 80 years, has killed millions in the last century, proposed killing it's own citizens several times to start wars (operation northwoods?), and takes away freedoms through fear every chance it gets.

Sorry, banning assault weapons (as Mitt Romney did in MA, no?) is NOT banning guns, no matter what your gurus in the NRA want you to think. They're doing a really good job, too, getting people to think such ludicrous thoughts.

I'm not the one talking about mental health, so don't include me in "you people".
