Many have asked what makes you think Christianity is the true religion...The reason why I believe Christianity is the only true religion..is one reason only "The Resurrection"...If it weren't for the resurrection you could put the bible away on the book shelf as just another book on philosophy...

I have seen some really stupid arguments in my life but NONE can touch the absolute stupidity of this one.
If you can rationalize any human behavour because of what is done in the animal world then how about this one. It's fine for me to kill all of my rivals, murder all of his children and maybe eat them too. I will then take all my rival's mates as my own and produce offspring with them. It must be OK for me to do those things because after all that's how lion society works.
Like I already said, trying to rationalize anything people do by drawing parallels with the animal kingdom is beyond stupid!!!!!!!!!!
Researchers in the Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine have confirmed that a male sheep's preference for same-sex partners has biological underpinnings. A study published in the February issue of the journal Endocrinology demonstrates that not only are certain groups of cells different between genders in a part of the sheep brain controlling sexual behavior, but brain anatomy and hormone production may determine whether adult rams prefer other rams over ewes.
This was was some years ago. Since then, fMRI brain scans have also shown that in humans, homosexuals have differences in brain stucture to heterosexuals.

Empathy is something humans naturally develop unless it is thwarted by fundamentalist religious brainwashing from a young age. (or severe neglect or abuse etc)
The problem with a lot of fundamentalists is that they have not been raised to develop a concience or empathy. Only to 'obey' God (or whoever can convince them that they 'know' what 'god' wants). So for them, without the threat of some deity who will send them to hell for eternity if they disobey, they think 'anything goes'.
Most rational, emotionally mature adults have developed a conscience and empathy for others, so the golden rule is more ingrained. They don't need the threat of some tantrumming jealous deity for them to do the right thing by others.
