Im confused, are you saying racial profiling is wrong and that liberals were right the whole time and they are now hypocrites for supporting it?
OR
are you saying they were wrong the whole time, and by being hypocrites, they are right in changing their minds ?
Racial profiling violates the constitiution. The idea that racial profiling is this minor concern based on being pc is insane, but again the older I get the more I realize that people believe things that are insane.

George Zimmerman isn't "white." He's Latino. Don't you just love how the Census loves to muddy the statistics by listing "Hispanics" as "whites."
Whites are, by definition: European-Americans - those people in America of European ancestry.
The media DID try to paint Zimmerman as a "white" man, but that didn't really work. Maybe a little, but he wasn't white enough to get the Jesse Jacksons and Sharptons of America throwing a hissy fit at white America like they love to do so often.
What do those stats have to do with racial profiling of black and hispanics by the NYPD and being outraged that Americans maybe having their constitutional rights violated?
