Yes, there are many European (white) people still in South America (the ruling class in a number of countries are of Spanish ancestry) but many have mixed with the indigenous. Mestizo is probably the most appropriate term as it means "a man of mixed race."
A person from Spain is considered latino/Hispanic by the USA. Any Spanish or Portuguese derived culture is perfectly capable of identifying as latino.
Far more? Once major incident in two decades? Profile me, my father, uncles, cousins and friends if you like. You'll just be wasting your time.
There have been far more incidents of white males committing domestic terrorism than oklahoma city. Whereas you can only count the incidents on one hand where arab americans were involved in acts of terrorism on US soil. So you'd be wasting your time far more profiling arabs compared to white males.
Maybe they should . In cases of serial killers/mass shooting sprees/another thing I won't name since it isn't the topic , the person is usually male and white
Again, profiling only works when a population is DISPROPORTIONATELY more likely to commit a certain crime.
In the United States, the majority of reported and investigated serial killers are white males, from a lower-to-middle-class background, usually in their late twenties to early thirties. However, there are African American, Asian, and Hispanic (of any race) serial killers as well, and, according to the FBI, based on percentages of the U.S. population, whites are not more likely than other races to be serial killers.
Criminal profiler Pat Brown says serial killers are usually reported as white because the media typically focuses on "All-American" white and pretty female victims who were the targets of white male offenders, that crimes among minority offenders in urban communities, where crime rates are higher, are under-investigated, and that minority serial killers likely exist at the same ratios as white serial killers for the population. She believes that the myth that serial killers are always white might have become "truth" in some research fields due to the over-reporting of white serial killers in the media.
Men are DISPROPORTIONATELY more likely to commit almost every crime than women. It would be inane to spend as much resources profiling women for certain crimes when men are more likely to do just about everything more than women (besides maybe prostitution).
If white men are to be profiled, it needs to be for those crimes they are more likely to commit. Mass shootings is not one of them. There was another poster on here a few days ago who believed that "young people" were responsible for mass killings.... statistics showed, however, that the majority are over 30.
If you want to stop mass shootings, profiling may work if you can whittle down common factors, but based on RACE --- that will probably not be the answer.
I don't think profiling for mass shootings is going to work because statistically they are a rare event compared to other homicides.
However, there is work that can be done in the mental health area, not profiling, but maybe having parents be alert for warning signs that their kid is troubled and perhaps violent, and most important, and expensive of all, making sure there are community mental health services for people to get help.

Neither Spanish (true Spanish) or Portuguese should be identifying as "Latino" cultures anymore than Italians identify as "Latinos."
There's LATIN, and there's LATINO. Latino is a New World term. Spanish/Portuguese are the base cultures in Latin America into which existing local cultures and immigrant and slave cultures added, mixed and made their own unique variations.
Neither Spanish (true Spanish) or Portuguese should be identifying as "Latino" cultures anymore than Italians identify as "Latinos."
Hispanic is a term referring to cultures from the Iberian peninsula. I know many Spanish-European-Americans identifying as Hispanics for diversity reasons.
aside from the outrageous racism, which is perfecty ok in this society as long as its directed towards wasp males, why do u think these mass killings have nothing to do with the bullying that is rampant in our schools mostly performed by jealous hate filled ARMED angry violent non whites.
