Ok so if I was Hobby Lobby in this situation... I would never of let it get this far and complied but with this new..operating policy. We are a spiritual reading book store company and our workers are required to know the product by knowledge which must include experience....therefore we have the garbage available and if an employee requires thats fine, they recieve and are fired on the spot for demonstrating a lack of available customer service, inquiry and representation...by militating against the product for sale and interfering with the highest possible sales.....or...the gov specifically prejudice's this company as the nature of this product is absolutely in conflict with the ridiculous law, and hinders the general facing of the initiative for business by a forced contradiction in operations, vrs product for sale.

What should Hobby Lobby do? Here are some options. (1) Deduct $58 dollars from every employee so that the employee pays the fine. This will get the message across that nothing is free and they are the ones responsible for their government’s actions. Interview all the employees to find out who voted for Obama. Charge them double. (2) Post signs in every store explaining to customers that the price of every item has to be increased in order to pay the fine. (3) Close every Hobby Lobby store[1], sell off all the merchandise, and tell the Federal Government to go to hell."

What Hobby Lobby Should Do When Fined $1.3 Million Per Day
OR ~ they could just shoot themselves in the foot and be done with it. But I'm pretty sure they like the money.

OR ~ they could just comply with the healthcare laws and quit whining about it and continue making money.

I would love it if they tried some of your suggestions - and the attorneys would be quite happy too.

Or throw in the towel. This is a dead horse and they know it. They got their 15 minutes and it's over, unless they can't find another way to claim persecution.

Why doesn't this work for birth control for their employees? The insurance company, not Hobby Lobby, pays for the birth control in keeping with your idea that the money the Greens send to China never is used to pay for abortions. "No one can say where their money goes after they pay for something."
That's right. It's like paying a man who comes to work for you and he goes out and buys liquor and drives drunk killing someone. WE can't be responsible for his actions but if we buy the liquor for a drunk man and knows he will drive drunk we are more culpable. We directly provide for it.

This thread shows nothing but hypocrisy among liberals. Let's just say we had an anti-abortion republican administration who mandated that employers had to stop covering abortions, oral contraceptives, and the morning after pill. Then, let's say we had a left leaning company with pro-abortion owners who desired to give their employees free access to abortions, but the anti-abortion administration says this left leaning company says they can't or they pay a fine. What do ya say now libs? I bet you would defend this company, but because Hobby Lobby is against something you want handed to you. Suddenly you feel you have a right to DICTATE your beliefs to others.

Oh, and in the taxes debate, I hear liberals crying all the time that "corporations are people" and should pay their fair share and all that crap. Well, suddenly they are not people??? What the heck?

Anyone who believes in freedom whether Christian or not, should come to Hobby Lobby's defense. Obviously, libs only believe in freedom for themselves and they are the ones pushing their beliefs on others.

Mr. Hobby Lobby does not have to buy his store inventory from a country that has forced abortions. Mr. Hobby Lobby has a choice and he chose $$$$$ over his so called religious convictions.

This is irony but that is exactly what Obama is doing.

Hobby Lobby made a choice. The sued and courts ruled against them. Now they want to ignore the ruling of the court, which carries a $1.3 million fine. Explain to me why I should feel sorry for them?
