We had a 12 year old get killed the other day because a responsible gun owner didn't properly identify his target. So until all gun owners act responsible then legislation is needed.
Firstly, to say the shooter's mom was extremely irresponsible is highly speculative. Hearsay is a better description. You don't know either one of them and you have no information other than what the media tells you and you aren't the psychiatrist who has been treating the shooter. In short, you are just running your mouth.

Secondly, since not all gun owners are responsible, then we should focus on those irresponsible ones by providing trainings and education programs to teach people. Take the analogy with cars, you don't ban cars just because there are irresponsible drivers, do you? Think about this, driving is privilege while keeping and bearing arms is right.

I would love to see that you cite one NRA's data and point out how it is wrong. I'd be right there with you if you can do that.
Like refusing over and over and over to explain why Western Europe/Canada/Australia/Japan's homicide rate is just a fraction of USA's one and why USA has a higher occurence of gun massacres?

Many of use have been posting and showing you all how her bill WOULD ban a lot of handguns and shotguns also, not just military style firearms, they don't mention that in their talking points hoping the sheep who don't know better will support the ban.

We have also posted how many people do use military style rifles for target and hunting and that a 10 shot military type rifle is no more lethal than a 10 shot hunting rifle.

I wish you all would get into your head...........

What her bill is , is a gun banners wet dream, those that are for banning guns period will support her, the rest are going to find out they got taken for.

Those of you who are hunters, handgun people or shotgun people who say " mine aren't going to be banned so go ahead" are playing into their divide and conquer strategy and you are in for a big surprise.

Do you not understand this is a ridiculous comparison? What's your education background? I am very baffled as why you don't understand this.

The Marines are not like the Army. An E-4 in the Marine Corps is an NCO, and promotions are not as rapid in the Marine Corps as other military branches. I also served eight years in the Marine Corps (1972 through 1980) and made E-5.

What don't you understand?
Isn't USA a developed country?
So I compare USA's murder rate with other first-world developed countries' one.

Here's a good analysis you should read. Seriously.

Another thing before you start it's called "correlation doesn't not mean causation."

Articles: Murder by Numbers

Wow, a conservative article: it must be reliable ... few underpopulated states have low murder rates (some of them have also stricter gun laws such as Rhode Island and Hawaii)
Great, post the murder rates of southern states.

Sounds like the author of the letter has some issues...I mean many issues.

"some woman"...."I am the one whom you serve"...

He did a stint in the military and he now thinks he has some divine status and we should all bow down to him? It scares me that he's armed.
