Imagine if this same legislator said that we needed to restrict the freedoms of blacks or women or gays.

From the article:
What we can do is to make the environment here so unwelcoming that some will choose not to come, and some may actually leave. One way is to pass measures that will restrict the 'freedoms' that they think they will find here. Another is to shine the bright light of publicity on who they are and why they are coming

New Hampshire Legislator: We Need to 'Restrict Freedoms' of Conservatives

says: 3rd District State Representative Democrat Cynthia Chase advised her fellow legislators to use their positions to make New Hampshire less welcoming to any conservative or libertarian planning on moving to her state—not to mention those already in residence.

Somebody needs a visit I'ld say

Sounds like what most liberal posters on City-Data advocate.

You're no different from the religious right, you are just as dogmatic. You say things like "you can't tolerate the intolerable" referring to conservatives or religious people, but that is the same thing the extreme-right says about you.

Why can't you people live and let live?

I always knew that Progressives much ballyhooed commitment to "diversity" was a crock of sh*t.

They're just like everyone else, they prefer to be with their own kind.

Lol, not to many Progressives wading into this thread.

CNN played and replayed some political dunce who waded into the merits/demerits of Kwanzaa.

I wonder if any of the the major media will pick up on this story?

Well I'd say that is discrimination. And very shameful of an elected official are they not suppose to work for ALL the people?

This is just another Liberal behaving like they do mean, hateful, non tolerant, do as I say not as I do types!

Another thought isn't this abuse of power?

The very thing the liberals accused Governor Palin of?
