1. Loons like Alex and Orly jumped on the bandwagon and made people with honest questions look insane.
2. Those who might have pushed the questions and made honest attempts to get answers became afraid of bing painted in the same image as the Alexes and Orlys. Kinda like the 'racist' syndrome. If you dared question, you were a racist/birther.
