So a Portland newspaper did a bit of an investigation and over a period of time called this bakery (and another Oregon Bakery that also refuses to bake wedding cakes for gay people) and requested cakes that celebrate other occasions that violate (some) Christian's values.
It seems that while these "Christian" bakeries will not bake wedding cakes for gay people, they will bake cakes for divorce celebrations, out of wedlock baby showers, Pagan solstice festivals, and a party to celebrate receiving a grant to clone human fetal stem cells.
So they don't want to do business with gay people. What's the big deal.
There are plenty of people you don't want to do business with, I'm sure. No reason to make a federal case out of it.
Everyone, and I mean everyone, discriminates against other people every day. We do it all the time, hundreds of time a day.
No one got hurt here. Much ado about nothing.
But Liberals always need something to "prove" how awful one group or another has it. lols. When there is no controversy they just create one for ****s and giggles.

You mean other than it being illegal in their jurisdiction? Also, if it wasn't a big deal, why not come out and admit it rather than hide behind a lie?
It proves that their provided justification is a lie. It shows that they're not really running a "Christian business"; it shows that in fact they are just gay-hating, law-breaking bigots.
In the past two days I posted on three threads on homosexuality then the thread closes after I post my thoughts .. how is that for tolerance of a poster.
Everyone has a right to refuse if it is against their religious beliefs. The state should not dictate to anyone who owns a business. If the man was asked to bake a cake of something offensive to him he has a right to also refuse..

No, proprietors of businesses that serve the public do not have that "right."
Try opening a dry cleaners and saying that as a Christian dry-cleaner you only launder the clothes of other Christians.

It's illegal? lols. That's a stupid law. No one is being injured by them refusing sservice to gay people.
Hey, if there was an official designated c**k sucking zone would you suck c**k everytime you went through there?

They lied? Who was injured?
They aren't a Christian business? Who was injured?
They don't want to do business with gays? Who got injured?
Typical of the left. Doesn't matter if anyone is injured or not. If you don't think like us we will make your thinking illegal.
I really think you need to get the hell over yourself. Getting mad because 2 people were unable to obtain a cake from one business is hardly anything to worry about. Especially when they can walk down the street and get cake from someone else.

How much do you want to bet that this bakery caters to people who have tattoos, who wear clothing made of mixed fabrics, who shave or cut their beards?
But noooooo! The bigots just get poutraged over the gay customers. That's the only religious belief that counts, apparently.

Everyone is looking for something to be offended by.
People need to grow up.
