You don't even get that much time in more moderate Virginia for DUI on the first offense.

That is my problem with this case, the punishment was excessive for the crime that was committed. Contempt of court, I could buy a week in jail and even a fine of $1-2k. The punishment was excessive and screams of a tyrant judge who got butthurt.
