Even so. How are they going to enforce it? Are they going to go door to door to confiscate them? Yeah, let me know how that works out.
Class C felony is up to 4 years in prison is how. Just call the cops and tell em your guns have been stolen before it's too late. They want em they can go find em.
I doubt that's going to pass. Any legislator in any state can introduce any bill.
I never thought I'd see a legislator propose such a bill to begin with. Just like I never thought I'd have to see a congressman threaten to filibuster a CIA appointee because they won't answer a question whether they have the power to KILL US citizens with drones.
So a bill proposed that you don't like, that is unlikely to pass, is the equivelent to Nazi's storming into your house (exicuting resistors) and putting you on trains to be worked to death in labor camps?

Four years in a "work camp" for excercising your rights as a US citizen is equivalent in my view.

It most likely would be a case by case basis. It is a federal crime to possess explosives, but they dont go door to door to see if you have explosives. If you do have them on you, or are found in your home, then you would be charged.
