It seems that there are few Republican Senators with common sense and guts enough to do the right thing.

Bipartisan deal close on expanded background checks

It aint done until the fat lady sings and there are several Democrats who are in conservative states that may not go along with it. I was for it even though it may cause some trouble for me but after I saw all the lefties come out and want to ban guns and ammo I turned to joining the NRA and not one damn law. Not one. You on the left who say you are not coming for our guns are lying, YOU ARE COMEING FOR SOME GUNS. You do want some of our guns. You are acting like the lions in the Serengeti, you go after the easy targets. You call something a name that you make bad and then attack it. Its an assault rifle, its bad it needs to be banned. Its a mag that holds more than 10 rounds, but look at NY they banned mags that hold 7 rounds. Once you get what you want you will go after mags that hold over 6 round and so on till there are nor more. I would have a small amount or respect for you if you just admit it that you don't want anyone but police to own a gun. I know that's what you want but you wont admit it. You think your sneaky. But your not.

The anti-intellectual paranoia continues.
