Hot off the press ... a revelation from the "Vatileaks Scandal" - where certain documents were stolen and leaked by the Pope's personal butler - may reveal that the cause of Pope Benedict's sudden resignation may have gay implications, according to the Roman newspaper La Repubblica.

In a report from USA TODAY, Benedict decided to resign after a 300 page document detailing corruption, blackmail, and gay sex in the Vatican was issued.

This should make for an interesting story as the particulars come to light.

Oh please, no story there. His health is failing rapidly so he decided to step down. Sadly, I don't think he will last long.

I'm not sure about a gay sex scandal, but there is most certainly a reason other than "old age" that he stepped down.

This is beginning to read like a Dan Brown novel.

I head he stepped down because the Church wouldn't let him wear his old brown shirt.

Don't be such a killjoy, natalie! There has got to be some sort of gay angle on the Pope's resignation.

I understand the last time a Pope resigned was over 600 years ago.

I mean, look at the fabulous - and I mean F-A-A-A-A-B-U-L-O-U-S! - drag the guy wears!

His health is nowhere near as bad as that of John Paul 2. It's supposed to be a Pope's calling to work until god tells him that its' "quitting time." I sure hope that the pope and Sarah palin take a picture together.

Get a life, sorry you were made fun of growing up but targeting an old Church Leader near death is rather sick and shows you for who you are.

Okay, let's make a deal:

I'll get a life when you get a sense of humor ... okay?
