Any questions?
That is just not the way America works. If people can't afford something they shouldn't get it... Yeah, great, except historically this country has made sure that certain people cannot afford something, mostly so you don't have to have them move in next door to you, eat in the same restaurant as you, or when it's all said and done work in the cubicle next to yours. Thank god there have been enough smart people in this country to make sure things do not stay that way.

Phones? No. I think you should pay more for your phone as a tax so that others can get their phone for free. Unless you are ready to prove that you should be on the receiving end and not on the end that pays.
Please stop; I'm all for helping those whom need help through my taxes but I already pay enough for a phone bill. If phone companies and the gov't followed your proposal, I'd drop my phone line and just get the free phone then. I'm also a massive Apple consumer as you state you are as I own one iPhone, a MacBook Pro, MacBook, iMac, iPad, iPod Classic, and iPod Touch but for them to give away products isn't a good business module. The dependency on govt would only arise with you proposal and that's what I'm against. Btw; thanks for reminding me to pay my phone bill. If you'd like to know why I'm complaint so much that's the picture of my bill history below so you can understand my frustration considering I only have one line.

In your opinion. Sounds like the opinion of someone who wants to make sure certain other people don't have the same opportunities as you or the same access as you to things like job postings. Yeah, if we can just make sure that we can keep these things out of the hands of certain people, maybe you will continue to not have to work with them. Nice try... But those days are over.

You should definitely go into business for yourself. I can tell by your posting that you have so much business intelligence that nobody can ever compete. You first company should be a cell phone kiosk. You charge the wealthy more for the phone and give the phone away for free to the poor. Investors are going to be lining up to invest!

I am already in business for myself. I'm doing quite well, too, thank you.

I don't want to charge the weathly more for a phone. I want to charge Joe Six-Pack more for a phone. I want the white racist in middle-America to pay more so that the people he rallies against can have something for free at his expense. I want the guy who changes oil for a living in Ohio* so he can come home to his luke-warm Swanson TV dinner to pay through the nose so that a black person can get a free phone on his dime. And I want that to continue until the idiot realizes the error of his ways... And all of the idiots like him too.

* And when I say "Ohio", I mean everywhere.

This is about as silly and irrelevant discussion as I've seen posted in a long time.

Except that it's not. It's actually something that is already going on. It just so happens that I am in favor of it. Someone does have to pay for it though. Might as well be the REGRESSIVES.

Consider the source. And you and I rarely agree.
