This is awesome. Go Rand!

Too late, he already did. He's made recess appointment when there wasn't any recess, made unilateral decision to topple the government of Libya, used executive orders to personally change law without the legislature's approval, etc.

Brennen like Lew is the guy that the left complained about for years. They are the very picture of those they claimed were evil and a blight on the country.

Now not a peep and it's likely that Paul will get attacked by them for taking their arguments up for them.

(Yes this is a generalization as I do realize there is a small portion of liberals/left leaning/etc people out there).

What is funny is Lee and Cruz are trying to get Paul to cede the floor so they can help him filibuster.... He can't do that, as it would end the filibuster. Talk about clueless GOP Senators... Ahh shucks, they did it in the form of a question, Alex Trebek would be proud.

A filibuster in the United States Senate usually refers to any dilatory or obstructive tactics used to prevent a measure from being brought to a vote. The most common form of filibuster occurs when a senator attempts to delay or entirely prevent a vote on a bill by extending the debate on the measure, but other dilatory tactics exist. The rules permit a senator, or a series of senators, to speak for as long as they wish and on any topic they choose, unless "three-fifths of the Senators duly chosen and sworn"[1] (usually 60 out of 100 senators) brings debate to a close by invoking cloture under Senate Rule XXII.

It looks like we've got a gang of three in the US Senate that is determined to keep liberty alive. Very good news!

I guess all three hope to run in 2016, before the Tea Party folds because of old age.

As a liberal, I wish him all the best on this issue. It's sad he doesn't have more bipartisan support.
