Again, I'm not against birth control, I'm against the gov't telling businesses what to do. I'm against the larger picture, Obamacare and entitlements as a whole.
Also, birth control isn't cancer. That's comparing apples and oranges.
Health insurance compaines are messed up no arguments there.
But none of these health issues matter, right? A woman should just pay her $15-95/month (depending on health plans) and shut up.
Yes. A woman should just pay for her birth control and shut up. That is exactly right. Why is that a problem? I don't get it. If you plan covers it and you get it, why not just get it and shut up? I don't understand what your complaint is here.
It seems like every couple weeks, I'm getting an e-mail from Planned Parenthood about the ongoing battle to get birth control covered in health plans. Why? What is the big deal about covering the pill?
1. Unless prescribed for a medical condition, it is elective
2. There is no co-pay under new health regulations
3. Some organizations are operated by people with religious convictions which oppose birth control and it is a violation of their rights to force them to cover it
4. Some classify the morning after pill as birth control while others classify it as abortion
Note that I personally think birth control should be covered in most circumstances. I am just answering the question, not saying I agree with all of the above.

I'm not against birth control, this is one of the few liberal entitlements that doesn't bother me that much. It is more the priciple, people have no limits and think that other people should just pay for their stuff. If you don't understand what's wrong with that then I don't know what to tell you. Do you have even the slightest clue how much the U.S spends on entitlements every year? If you don't you should look it up, it is mind blowing. This isn't about a few pills, it's about the U.S becoming a total welfare state.
Btw, I don't know how much it would cost but do the math. Over 300,000,000 people live in the country. About have of those are women. Let's say 30% require birth control. Let's say they take it for 20-25 years. How much does a pill cost? Nothing in this world is free. Btw, this country is in crazy debt. Do you realize how this whole debt thing works?
Here is the defination of an entitlement: belief that one is deserving of or entitled to certain privileges a
government program providing benefits to members of a specified group.
In other words, an entitlemnet is a gov't funded program that provides benefits. In this case, it happens to be only to women. The rest I'll leave up to you.

Seriously, you can just suck it up because you feel entitled to live and I don't think you need it.
Not considering this an entitlement is a technicality. I still view it as one. Not matter how you spin it, the cost gets passed down to the taxpays. The government is awarding people free benefits. Call it whatever you want. I call it quasi-socialism.
So YOU view it as an entitlement, so it is.
And you're against entitlements.

It is shared by all people who PAY into the insurance plan.

No one ever died from not being able to get an erection.
It's irrelevant whether anybody ever died from it. You don't die from a broken arm. It's still a medical condition.

Pregnancy is a medical condition and pregnancy is covered as well as any complications that result from pregnancy. I didn't say pregnancy wasn't a medical condition, I said the desire not to become pregnant isn't a medical condition.

If you're getting the pill for some other reason then it isn't birth control and would be covered as medication for whatever condition it has been prescribed for. At that point preventing pregnancy is merely a side effect.
