Okay, question:

How many private jet owners have been observed taking up beds in homeless shelters?

I don't know, and I'm sure you don't either.

A recent interview with Bloomberg asked him if he'd like to mandate gym membership for all New Yorkers.
Had a chuckle at that one. Bloomberg did admit though that even he knows where the line is and that it's government's job to "suggest" how to change your lifestyle to say healthy.

He's very fixated on this War on Obesity which the CDC said peaked about 10 years ago and is now on the decline.

No, I don't, which was why I asked the question, but I'm fairly certain that anyone rich enough to afford a private jet is hardly interested in sleeping on a cot in a homeless shelter.

I'm not sure what argument you are trying to make here, if any. Are you seriously saying that the owners of private jets filling up homeless shelters is a problem there? If so, can you document this? If not, what exactly is your point?

There is no harm in looking into this to see if it is a real issue. I would be pretty upset if I found out wealthy private jet users were getting free night stays in the city on the public's dime.

Does that really seem likely to you?

I think you see his point, you just refuse to acknowledge it. His point was not to statistically analyze how many people come into the homeless shelter after walking off a private jet or riding from a limosine; his point was to draw attention to the loose ends pertaining to the abuse of the shelter system. And he is correct...you can literally come off a private jet, catch a ride in a limosine and walk into a shelter and find accomodations.

Either way, he never said anyone was doing that, he just said that anyone could do that. And he is correct, therefore it's irrelevent for him to prove how many people are doing it, when his point is that they could do it. The proof to his point is in the law itself.

Besides, outside of assuming, you couldn't prove that anyone isn't doing just that, any more than I could prove that they are. So it's a pretty moot request on your behalf as it relates to Bloomberg's point.

Does it seem likely? No. Does it seem possible? Yes. So again, no harm with looking into this to see if it is an issue.

LOL I don't care what you "ignore"...you just can't own up to the baselessness of your point.
