Fox News talking points much?

Do I have to start on the infamous Republican Joe Wilson "You Lie!!" shout in the middle of a congress meeting, the GOP "secret meeting" to hold the country hostage and disrupt the Obama presidency before he was inaugurated, the McConnell "highest priority is to make Obama a one term president" speech, the Tea Party "birther" craziness, etc etc .. there is literally tons of material of GOP led insanity against Obama, but I will just stop there and not embarrass you further.

Who is Ben Carson?
This is a hypothetical question, because I learned a little about the man here, but it's the question most Americans are going to ask.

So he was on Fox. Big deal.

I think this discussion is very premature, since Dr. Carson apparently has done nothing of any consequence politically and has made no political announcements.

I really like him. I've followed his story for years, way before the prayer breakfast. I actually posted his story on these boards a couple of times over the years. I'm even more impressed with his mother. She is the one who truly shows that there are no limits in America for those who are willing to try.
She looked around the houses of the successful people whose houses she cleaned and realized that they were filled with books, so she decided to make reading a priority for her children. That's what smart, successful people do- they copy the habits of others who have achieved success. An illiterate maid with a 3rd grade education was smart enough to realize that, and she changed her family's tree forever. I wish I could vote for her!

Yep, he's black so I'd vote for him. Is there really a need to know anything else about him?

It's hard to even quantify how ignorant a person would have to be to believe that Obama is a classy individual.

Looks like someone dozed off and missed 3/4 of the speech.

0bama definitely took the bait. Just because he didn't jump up and down and scream 'unfair' doesn't mean he didn't react.

He reacted, alright. In his infamous, disgusting way.

Honey.........the only person you're embarrassing is yourself. You appear to be paying attention about .01% of the time.

Good. I hope there is a future for him. One of the few people speaking on any issue today with an ounce of common sense.
