You know people eat processed crap, fast food, and don't exercise, that's why they are fat.
I like sockeye salmon too, but I do wish you'd stop assuming that simply because you and I can afford it, "anyone" automatically can. They cannot all, and you need to start thinking this way because it's reality.

I am not kidding.

And no, he does not have any problems with his legs. He is just lazy...

Alas, it's a combination of factors that make him obese. Laziness is one of them. So is food. So is his beer consumption.
People keep making excuses, bad food, expensive food, etc and keep wondering why America is the fattest nation. And then when someone tells them straight what the problem is, they put you on ignore. This is hilarious.

Hate to break it to you guys but I don't eat fish at all. Never have - the smell makes me feel nauseated. I still manage to eat and live healthily.

Access to fish does not guarantee a healthy lifestyle or a healthy diet. Both can easily be had without access to fish.

People do make a lot of excuses.

Staying healthy and fit is a lot of work, especially when you get older. It takes quite a bit of commitment to stick with my exercise regiment...

However, because I stick to it, I can allow myself to indulge, too. Thus, I have no real problem eating "unhealthy" food if I really feel like it. (Like I said, I love a good Big Mac).

I know that I would be HUGE if I just let myself go.

Now you're being ridiculous, which is pretty par for the course. My family can afford to buy organics, wild salmon, etc. and we live a comfortable life. Tuna is loaded with mercury--that's why you're eating wild sockeye salmon instead. Most middle class families, let alone "the poor" can't afford to routinely pay $15/lb for protein.

I have met a lot of fat Polynesians who while eat a lot of pork too, also eat a lot of fish.

Try again. I wrote that people who can't afford salmon or choose not to budget for it (giving up something else to get it) could buy tuna fish instead of ground beef so they could still get their fish if they so choose.

WRONG, I had hormone levels done often and they were at ZERO...read that ZERO my ovaries quite working, I was on bioidentical hormone therapy for quite sometime and I had to stop for other health issues, I now take some OTC stuff to help with hot flashes. I am on a thyroid medication but even with that, my body won't tolerate enough to reverse the issue. My body temp is usually around 96.4 to 96.6 when I try to take additional medication I get horrific insomnia and other side effects.

I eat healthy, I don't eat fast food or soft drinks. Oh and btw I'm a nurse and have been since 1972, so I'm educated and at my age I'm very familiar with what is going on with my body. I also exercise, having a 10 acre farm to keep up by myself at my age is a lot of work and I walk the pastures every day with my dog. And yet I'm still fluffy, it happens to many many woman as we age.
