It took three pages for this to resort to name calling and stereotyping. Longer than I thought it would.

The next culture war is certain to be whether traditional Christians can own businesses and if so, can they run their business by those values. For instance, could a Christian photographer refuse to photograph a gay wedding? Can a Christian bakery refuse to bake a gay wedding cake? Most people would probably say they could not, and that if somebody is going to own a business, they should support same sex marriage. A photographer refusing to photograph a gay wedding is the same as a 'No Blacks Allowed' cafeteria.

There is the position though that a business-owner of a private business should be able to run their business the way they choose and serve the customers of their choice and refuse the customers of their choice. The free market should then decide who stays in business and who closes. This is the less popular position.

Should business owners be forced to support same sex marriage or be shut down by the government? Please refrain from name-calling and stereotyping and discuss this issue.

Funny you should ask. There's a Jewish bakery in Oregon that refused to bake a wedding cake for a lesbian couple, who filed a discrimination complaint with the state Attorney General.

Why? To only prove a point?

There are gay dating sites. There are gay Christian dating sites. There are gay black dating sites.

Should they also cater to heterosexuals?

Should gay porn make sure they have a heterosexual couple in there too, to avoid discrimination? Especially if the gay porn is produced on "US ground"? I guess they should.

This argument is just as ridiculous as finding "Ladies Night" an act of discrimination.

Sorry, it's not my problem if you don't know the basics of the Bible...or how to use Google.
Knock it off.

You listed everything Jews don't do.

Sorry, it's not my problem you don't know that.

There are very few things a business should be forced to do, and support same sex marriage is definitely not one of them.

It's hilarious that you think Christians are "all about the New Testament." What else don't you know about your own religion?

"Supporting" gay marriage is different from discriminating against gay people. Just as it would be against the law for a business to refuse to serve blacks, it would be against the law for them to refuse to serve gay people.

The admonishment for homosexuality is in Leviticus, which is in the Old Testament. As well as the ten commandments. You can't say that things like homosexuality are wrong, or even murder, and say that the Old Testament doesn't apply to Christians. That violates every Christian theological thought out there. Even things taught in kindergarten Sunday school.

You might want to actually read the Bible sometime before telling other Christians whats in it.

A business does not have a religion. The owner is a christian, not Jewish. And he is doing business in a state that has sexual orientation anti discrimination laws. When doing business you must follow all applicable state and federal laws. Don't like it? Don't open a business.
