10 million is nothing in the realm of tv viewership. The walking dead season premier had 12.3 million viewers.
Even zombies beat the bible.
Still 10 million not a bad number when you take into account how the secular progressives have waged an all out war on Christianity.

What war?
Telling you that you can not force everyone to live by your beliefs?

Also your thread title is way off. "most watched show"? Hardly.

A TV show? No.

Pope Frank? Maybe.

Not even in a symbolic sense are secular progressives waging all out war on Christianity.

"Secular progressives"....is that your new phrase for the day?

America's values are in upheaval, triggered by the advance of technology, prolonged pessimism, and a loss of confidence in major social, political, economic, and religious institutions, according to a poll of more than 2,000 Americans commissioned by The Atlantic and The Aspen Institute for the Aspen Ideas Festival. The poll was conducted by Penn Schoen Berland between May 25 and June 6, 2012.
While Americans have become far more socially tolerant of different lifestyles, they have become far more cynical about Wall Street, the ability to succeed on one's own merits, the future of their children, and even the existence of God, according to the poll...

The older generation, which has been rising as a proportion of the population, is far more conservative in outlook, expressing opposition to all of these social matters...

Young people place equality as a value nearly as important as freedom of speech and religion, while the older generations placed equality after capitalism as a core value. The free enterprise system runs deep as a value for those 45 and older, but the younger two generations are far less rooted in that system.

Ecumenism may have been of enormous importance. But it is a fact they all parse the same Bible and yet come up with the most astounding differences.
