...and Hollywood has never produced movies based on the Bible? As a matter of fact, every single one of them were on TV within the last few days. Couldn't switch channels without catching a glimpse of Jesus carrying the cross.

It's amazing how the 'intellectual' left claims to think of God as a myth yet they become apoplectic in their attacks on Him.

I wonder how many would watch the show if Jesus was portrayed as the dark skinned, bearded, Arab man he was.

People in this country think jesus looked like Ted Nugent. No.

lol.
Yes they're making so much money from our gullibility you'd think they'd learn to make more movies like "The Bible" instead of their usual liberal propaganda fare that for the most part bomb out with audiences. Oh well.

Yes. Releasing the same tired story we here every few months anyway is sure to captivate audiences nationwide.

All the Church does is talk about the Bible, and their numbers are skyrocketing!

pfft.

King of Kings - including the silent version
The Ten Commandments
Barabas - 2 versions
The Robe
Jeseus of Nazareth
The Greatest Story Ever Told
Ben Hur

All of the above have been aired multiple times over the weekend and I'm sure there were more that I was not aware of. Just how many of these movies do you think would be sufficient to tell the same stories over and over again?

...and there is this...

Probably just wishful thinking on your part. I'm not surprised by the numbers. There are a lot of Christians in America who would love to watch a new white-washed, super hot Jesus rendition of the bible.

Have you also considered how many non-Christians are still interested in watching that show because they are interested in World Religions, bored, or searching for some comic relief?
