Not quite. The bill would have made it a felony for the DOJ to use the data to create a registry. There was no prohibition against other agencies creating a registry (DHS for example).

VT massacre occurred 6 years prior 2 days ago. At such a time, you'd think pro gun folks would be more sympathetic.

For the love of God, you already do! I've bought several guns at shows and a background check was done on EVERY one of them.

You'd think anti gun folks wouldn't be so stupid and try to pass knee-jerk, feel good legislation that will have no effect on curbing gun violence.
