Great thoughts except for one sticky little problem. Every time we remove an "evil dictator" what he's replaced with ends up to be worse.

Exactly. We should have learned this by what's happened with Iraq and Egypt.
Or go back and look at Iran, the liberals wanted the Shah taken out and he was and freedom ended there.

Another example of the inconsistency of the left; first they attack conservatives for claiming muslims are subhumans for all of the terrorism they commit, then they state that the US should not be in mideast wars because muslims are "somehow different" than other humans, and can't understand/don't want democracy.

I'm not from the left. Muslims are somehow different -- by definition they do not believe in democracy, they believe in a theocracy. This ideology is not about freedom at all.
There is no good reason for our best Americans to be dying over there for these people and their Islamic states. They hate us, they hate our freedoms, they will only accuse of killing women and children in order to free them, and come here as refugees and plot to kill as many of us and our children as they can.

Another thing -- you can be pretty sure if some rebel group here was doing to Obama what the Islamic rebels are doing to Assad in Syria, Obama would use chemicals and WMD against the American rebels. We are no more free to revolt and overthrow our government than are the Syrian rebels.
Is white phosphorous listed as a chemical weapon under the Chemical Weapons Conventions? No, so why are you mentioning it?
because it's a chemical weapon, same as depleted uranium, Agent Orange, and God only knows what virus's are in the works.

Seriously, what's he going to propose in Syria -- backing radical fundamentalist Muslims instead? We're damned if we do and damned if we don't. Assad is a horrible, horrible leader. But he just might be the better of two options over there.
Iran is a beautiful, modern country with so many historical sites and artifacts. I truly hope you will take a few minutes to view this video and get a glimpse of the people that are being demonized. I also hope we don't do to them what we did to Libya, and what we are doing to Syria.

Iran has 70 million people, many of whom are quite decent, but the regime, the basij, the IRG, and its protectors there and abroad are some of the worst scum on the face of this earth, and need to be killed.
As for the ludicrous canard about how "wonderful" the jews have it there, I can tell you for a fact if most of them were allowed to leave and speak without a gun to their head - their true opinion would be quite different.
A major attack on iran is long, long overdue - that regime must be destroyed, and can only be done so by external military means.
