The income stats above show an opening for the GOP. Gays are, on average, more wealthy than their straight counterparts. If the GOP would drop the social issues BS, they could probably peel off gay votes. 30% already vote GOP.
This would be also a great arguement that gay rights (as in anti-discrimination laws) are unecessary since gays are doing better in society--economically-- than normal people.
