What caused climate change before the arrivals of humans? (money, states, claim)

And your proof that man had anything to do with it is where......??
Number one - we understand some of the reasons the climate has changed in the past, and those reasons include rapid increases in greenhouse gasses due to volcanic activity etc. So you think things will somehow just magically go DIFFERENTLY just because it's US producing excess greenhouse gasses rather than a massive volcanic eruption?
Greenhouse gas is greenhouse gas - no matter WHERE it originates.
Number two - we see the average temps climbing.
So, we KNOW that when greenhouse gasses increase it leads to increases in temperature because we've got geological records that show that - AND we KNOW that we're INCREASING greenhouse gasses AND we KNOW that temps are RISING - so what does that mean is likely to happen: 1+2+3=6, no matter WHAT the source of "1" is.
Climate change before humans was never at issue because........
there was no millions, billions or trillions of dollars at stake......
There is now so the issue must be addressed.
If we sunk the USA into the bottom of the ocean, the CO2 levels would still go up, because of all the newly industrialized countries, like India, China, Brazil, Turkey etc...
The climate changes all the time, for many reasons, and quicker than people realize. About 1700 years ago, you could grow grapes in England as far north as Lincolnshire. Many Europeans took to drinking beer as the climate changed, and places like France become the new center of wine making. The Sahara desert wasn't nearly as inhabitable 2000 years ago as it is today. The Romans could cross this vast terrain with horses. In fact, various groups regularly crossed over the desert for trade. 600 years later, such a task could only be achieved on camel, and it became a barrier preventing the migration and trade of various groups. We've had ice ages in the past 2000 years that crippled crop production and led to extreme hardship, illness and starvation. We've had warm spells that allowed farmers to grow new crops in new regions, which would have been an impossibility in the past.
But of course, if the climate changes in the next 100 years, it's our fault, and Obama will probably apologize to mother nature for us. Not saying we shouldn't protect rainforests, reduce vehicle emissions, control or eliminate spillage of industrial waste, but we are only one nation. Frankly, I think we are doing a great job. We've got a lot of 3rd world slums that are picking up the slack and producing more pollution that we did 30 years ago. I don't see how it's OK for a factory in China to dump industrial waste, but it's not OK for us to do it here. I think it's time we start adding some form of pollution tax on all the 3rd world garbage being sold in this country. It costs a lot for a manufacturer in this country to meet EPA guidelines, placing our domestic manufacturing base at a significant disadvantage. Time to level the playing field a bit.
