I don't see this as new. Basically, it is an outgrowth of the violent nature of Conservatives. They also tend to be an entitled group that is more aggressive.

Yet is always the liberals who are the most violent and conservatives the most peaceful. Particularly during protests.
I mean the study is the same premise as the OPs. Aside from that look at these threads. You will see a lot more internet tough guys on the right then you will on the left. Especially with regards to threads that drift into common themes "the government wants to take your guns," "The collapse/secession/civil war is coming" and or "violent means needed to restore constitution".
This can't be right because the most obese places in the country are the deeply conservative states of the Deep South and the least obese state is liberal Colorado.

It is a silly premise, I will give you that. I know real-life tough guys, and they come in all political stripes. Age is more of a factor on whether someone is more liberal or conservative than physical strength.
