you have had it ALWAYS. You simply want to impose your will on others.
If I was physically capable, I would.

Now.....tell me...... where can I get access to the drugs doctors have at their disposal?

Why should I have to resort to hanging myself or blowing my brains out?

take the amount of medication to never wake up.

Just don't tell me they don't have it.

THEY DO.

and the person is absolutely free to put that decision into motion.

Don't force others to do so.

Because 1) it is a wide opened door to enormous abuse 2) you don't have the right to force anybody to do so ( this one can be legally determined)

Because it is YOUR decision and don't demand from anybody to do it FOR YOU.

Where do I get the medication? Off the shelf at WalMart.....no prescription needed?

No one here is talking about FORCING anyone to ask for assisted suicide.

Gee.....does your doctor prescribe you those kinds of meds just because you ask for them?

Mine doesn't.

Name a pharmacy that will give me whatever medication I ask for without a doctor's prescription.

wrong, there are some that cannot do for themselves. paraplegics for instance cannot do for themselves.

It called cowardice.

Plus it is a wide open door to numerous murders. Or murder suspicions, murder accusations and therefore - more ruined families.
if properly regulated, complete with lawyers, witnesses, etc. assisted suicide can be done, and most of those issues can be mitigated. as for suicide being cowardice, i call that true for the most part, but there are those that are in severe pain, and are terminal anyway, and should be allowed assistance to put themselves out of their misery.
