I see only two roads; Retreat View Circle encircles the complex, and Twin Trees is the entrance road that seems to go straight in. Oregon Ave. isn't part of the complex. How could Zimmerman NOT know exactly what road he was on? As for swallowing Zimmerman's lies, didn't that pesky Jesus guy say something about people who are able to swallow a camel but strain at swallowing a gnat? Seems appropriate.
I saw a map the other day where it looked like there were four streets, but I don't think the boundaries were clear, as far as what streets were or weren't in the complex, so two of the streets I saw could have been outside the complex.
Either way - some neighborhood watch guy! Four streets or two, you'd think that would be the first thing a watch person would do - familiarize themselves with the neighborhood so they could get law enforcement to the right place.
Unless, of course, they didn't really want law enforcement to show up right away.
Or they were on a cocktail of prescription drugs and alcohol.
Or both.
Does anyone know how long Zimmerman lived in the complex? The complex where he couldn't identify one of two streets in the neighborhood he called "home?"
At the end of Part 1 Zimmerman says that Martin came back and circled his car. This is not supported by the 911 tape and is not mentioned in the interview. Zimmerman's just making stuff up as he goes along. The part about sitting on top of Martin (who's be shot through the heart) and spreading his arms out to restrain him is just bizarre -especially given that Martin was found with his hands underneath his body.
[quote=softblueyz;29877437]Interesting. In Part 2 GZ claimed he shot TM (mind you he shot him through the heart point blank) and TM sat up, put his hands up, talked to GZ ("you got me, you got it") then GZ somehow got TM off of him, rolled TM over until he was face down, sat on him and moved TMs arms apart (outwards) to "restrain" him, yet when the police arrived Officer Smith observed and noted that TMs hands were under his body. Was TM really capable of sitting up, have enough life left in him to talk to GZ and energy to resist GZ that GZ had to "restrain" TM and ask someone to help restrain TM?/]
It seems that GZ used "I don't remember" and "I think" a few too many times in the re-enactment videos and the only thing he is sure about is that he shot Martin."/]
Not with Martin being shot through the left ventricle; he would have been unconscious almost immediately from trauma and dead very soon after. I haven't seen the ME's report in some time, but it may well be that Martin's left lung was heavily damaged as well. The combination would make the death come almost immediately. The attempts at CPR with a chest wound didn't help matters, although I don't believe it mattered by then.

Along with the audio recordings of six calls to Sanford police that George Zimmerman made in the weeks before the Feb. 26 shooting of Trayvon Martin, the Sanford Police Department has posted reports of 46 911 and nonemergency calls it says Zimmerman made between August 2004 and Martin’s shooting.[end quote]
Since 2004? How weird is THAT??

Holy crap!
Reading through that.......well, I don't know what to say.
He reported kids playing in the street? Something about the landlord wanting to be paid? Someone driving through the neighborhood for "five minutes?"
I've always tried to kind of give him the benefit of the doubt over the race thing, but there are a lot of reports of "suspicious activity" by BM's (black males) that really seemed to have no basis except that the "suspicious" person was there and was black - not breaking into a home or anything - just driving through the complex, etc.
This was three weeks before he killed Trayvon:

Report: “BM lsw: black leather jacket, black hat, printed PJ pants, he keeps going going to this” location
What does that mean: "He keeps going to this location?"

That's a good question, but Zimmerman would give you several answers from which to choose.
I'd say the Sanford PD was familiar with George and his many calls; maybe that's why he was only questioned then released. Not to mention that anyone who claims that their head was bashed against concrete until they feared for their life would be getting X-rays and a CT Scan as soon as possible, not seeing their family physician the next day.
I read that Zimmerman actually didn't see his family physician. Instead he talked to the PA (physician Assistant) because he needed a medical excuse for work absence. She suggested that he schedule an appointment with an ENT (ears, nose throat) specialist but Zimmerman refused. Even though he claimed he'd been told that he had a broken nose (but that was false, he wasn't told that). No X-RAYS were taken. She also suggested he see a psychologist (and THAT was strange).
OMG! Somebody tell this fool to shut up. I've never seen a murder suspect doing a reenactment before the trial. Basically, he just took the stand and testified. I wonder why his lawyers aren't present. Once he opens his mouth, his lawyers can't change what he says. All it takes is one inconsistency in his story, and he's screwed. The burden of proof lies on the prosecutors to prove their case, not the defendant. There's no way his lawyers would agree to this. He just showed his hand.

No kidding. GZ made a bunch of mistakes. For his own self-interest, tied for his worst decisions were either not getting a lawyer once they let him go or not leaving the country before they arrested him.

Oh well.......the fool didn't flee, and now the fat, entitled blowhard is going to have to pay for his crime.
