The question put was how would you change the 2A. That was my answer. I don't expect any changes to actually happen.

The masses aren't the target audience of the constitution, at least in this regard. Who counts is the federal judiciary, who actually enforce the constitution. Pulling the preamble makes the application that much more clear.

I guess the reality is that neither is likely to happen, and anyway it is somewhat of a moot point since the Heller ruling.

The second amendment already stated whats fair. No laws infringing on your right to own and to carry any firearm period.
