Oh, GIVE IT A REST.

For God's sake this President and First Lady have done more for our veterans and their families than most.

This has to be the most offensive post I've read today. And that's saying a lot.

Obama's words were curious when he did visit the invasion site....he said he 'isn't the first and probably won't be the last president to visit on D day'....

What an odd thing to say.

Well, I guess he could not say "I shall be the last President to visit on D-Day".

Indeed, there may be another visit by a future president for the 100th anniversary, for all we know.

Sorry if I'm missing something, but I don't see what's odd about that.

As for the OP, he's already visited the invasion site once. He doesn't need to do it every single year. Enough with the fake outrage.

What are you doing on D-Day besides bitching on the Internet and perhaps watching The Longest Day on TV?

You mean Rev. Wright who hated America so much that he volunteered and served in both the Marines (2 years) and the Navy (4 years) between 1961 to 1967. Rev. Wright has as much right as any American to criticize the polices of the government as any other American. Rev. Wright never lusted for its destruction.

Did he have the right to do it from the pulpit?

Is your question, does he have the right to criticize the government from the pulpit? The answer is absolutely.

Your funny............................................. ..........................I am sure he does not spit...but I am also sure that culturally he is disconnected from what took place in WW2. It was a Christian white man's world back then. He does not relate to that history. If it were not for the white Christian men who fought to ward off the Nazis and the imperialists of Japan...America would not exist..Obama would running a small farm in Kenya.. while his grand mother brewed home made beer.
