I don't care where your politics are, but this man truly understands what our soldiers sacrificed. I challenge anyone to rebut this speech. Unlike Obama, he promotes love of country and our duty to promote freedom and liberty.
Has Obama spoken up at all today? If I missed it, my bad.
He made that comment on a special anniversary. Did he do the same on every anniversary? Somehow I doubt it. Next year will be the 70th anniversary and I am sure Obama will do the same. The day isn't over so we will give him the benefit of the doubt.

Exactly, old Ronnie gave that speech on the 40th anniversary, I don't think he gave one on the 39th though.
"Between 1944 and 2012 — a span of 68 years — exactly four U.S. presidents have attended D-Day memorial ceremonies a total of exactly six times. Barack Obama was one of them" snopes.com: Barack Obama and the D-Day Monument
I doubt the President will speak about D-Day today.
I visited Normandy beach on June 4, 2004, just two days before the 60th anniversary. President Bush and other heads of State attended the special ceremony held on June 6th, as did vets of D-Day. It was acknowledged that it would be the last 'official' observance of D-Day, since the survivors were dying out (now some 1,000 per day).
Now, I have no doubt that if one were in Normandy today, you would see some of the local French people having a brief moment of silence, perhaps a couple of private ceremonies at gravesites.
However, after President Bush attended in 2004 I certainly did not expect him to do anything special on succeeding anniversaries. Today is the 69th anniversary and I would be surprised if President Obama did anything. Indeed, don't expect anything special for the 70th, or thereafter.
The bugle taps are fading away.
We still have Memorial Day and Veteran's Day to remember and reflect upon the sacrifices of those who marched before us.
Maybe he has no respect for America and it's heritage? Remember his dearly beloved Rev Wright? The guy hate America and lusted for it's destruction...I don't think Obama loves America...he just uses America as if she were a hooker.

So, have you heard the one where he's going to military cemeteries to spit on the graves of WWII vets?
