Remember that bill, Rachel Maddow, Hannity and others are commentators. They make their money by keeping their viewers tunning in and therefore report what they think their viewers want to hear. Most of the left was outraged when Bush did some intrusive things...as everyone should be. The problem is that msnbc is loyal to Obama and the dems. So they are hypocrites.
The fox network has a issue because they are paranoid about terrorists (even to the point of giving up liberty and freedom). But they also dislike Obama, so it puts them in a bind. Neither left or right is correct on this or most other issues.
