That'll happen when people stop eating. Similarly, PD will be "forgiven" for this issue because she's pushing food.

[yum!]

I read also that her book publisher is reconsidering putting out her next book this fall, and even QVC is on the fence about having her appear anymore. This will have a domino effect.

I just want to add that I really liked Paula Deen as a personality. her recipes leave something to be desired, but I can go for buttered, fried, doughy things once in a while like most Americans. I like Gordon Ramsey and love Tony Bourdain. i'd be a fool to believe neither of them have ever used a racial slur against blacks or Pakistanis. the difference is, this seems to be something deeply ingrained is Paula Deen. Anyone who thinks it's okay to have black staff dress as slaves for a Gone With the Wind wedding is way out there on the how racist are you spectrum. to not realize that that was nothing but a bad idea, you really have to be stuck mentally in the good ol days.

I don't know what to do now, without Paula...My Paula..
Anyway, I hope we'll all make it...

Why was she fired?

She was being deposed, which means that she was under oath.

Would Food Network had preferred that she lied?

Would it be any different, if black actors portray slave servants for movies, than be dressed as slave servants for this wedding? If one is negative, then shouldn't both?

One thing mention in the deposition was Heir insensitive treatment of getting in a scuffle with one worker that Paula end up inviting the black worker to smooth things over.
The tipping point is when he tried to kiss her then later scream at her in front of dinner of vendors and he end up spitting in her in the face.
What grown person does this? How low class.

I'm sure their feelings will be hurt.

There were no race hustlers involved. If there were, prove it.

How pathetic garbage like this is even in the news.

More filler, as usual.
