At this stage, murdering whistleblower Edward Snowden would only serve to make him a martyr and add support for his cause. Besides, Mr. Snowden has already fulfilled his mission of handing off his evidence to Glenn Greenwald and Bart Gellman as well as filmmaker turned activist Laura Poitras. Is the Pentagon prepared to assassinate all those people as well?

In all the documents that stinker released, where did it say specifically spying was going on Americans.

He alluded to the capabilities but he never released anything specific.

The Parallel Construction scandal confirmed that Americans are being spied on and that the Police State is even forging documents to hide that fact.

Exclusive: U.S. directs agents to cover up program used to investigate Americans | Reuters

Quote:
(Reuters) - A secretive U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration unit is funneling information from intelligence intercepts, wiretaps, informants and a massive database of telephone records to authorities across the nation to help them launch criminal investigations of Americans.

Although these cases rarely involve national security issues, documents reviewed by Reuters show that law enforcement agents have been directed to conceal how such investigations truly begin - not only from defense lawyers but also sometimes from prosecutors and judges.

So the DEA, FBI use wiretaps for criminal proceedings.

Where does the NSA come in?

Oh wait, there it is, NSA was obliquely used in a sting in Thailand.

Quote:
Wiretap tips forwarded by the SOD usually come from foreign governments, U.S. intelligence agencies or court-authorized domestic phone recordings. Because warrantless eavesdropping on Americans is illegal, tips from intelligence agencies are generally not forwarded to the SOD until a caller's citizenship can be verified, according to one senior law enforcement official and one former U.S. military intelligence analyst.
So where is saying Americans are being spied on?

I read the entire article and there is not one mention that Americans are being spied on illegally. Its all overseas.

Take that conspiracy theory and ram it.

I am surprised the spooks haven't killed him by now. Those that live by the lie do not like anyone pointing that out.

Any reason to believe it won't be released eventually anyway?
