As I was taking my daughters car through NJ State inspection, I saw three older cars fail for emissions. You have 14 days to make the necessary repairs, which when dealing with emissions can cost big bucks.
People with the means can easily afford to have the repairs made without hardship....poor people, not so much.
One of the three was a black woman, who most likely voted for these lefties who put the environmental laws into effect. She was very angry.....screaming that she doesn't have the money to fix her car.

the funny thing is that they don't even hook anything up to your exhaust anymore. if the check engine light is on, they simply fail you. this is abuse on a level that is incomprehensible. your good lobbyists at AC delco, and pep boys have friends on the left.
it has nothing to do with "clean air." it's a racket. again, they do not check your emissions. they look at your check engine light and hook your car up to a computer. apparently liberals have never heard of electrical problems.

Ask the woman who failed emissions what she would rather do....drive her car as/is, or pay for the repairs with money she doesn't have?
