It would be very hard to have kept a straight face during that horrible presentation. Has anyone heard how the sitting media might have described juror reactions?
Depends on which bias you were listening to.
I did hear fairly consistantly that there was one juror in the back who sat back in her chair with her hand cupping her chin with a "I don't believe a thing you're trying to sell me" look on her face during Bernie's entire close.
And I can understand that but I'll never understand the numerous attacks on the girls appearance. I never knew there was a certain level of beauty required to testify in court. Even the public figures were doing it...calling the girl Precious, which is basically code for fat, black and ugly. Complete horrid behavior on behalf of adults and supposed professionals.
She was "Mammyfied" by the media and certain malicious Internet forum posters.
Making assumptions....sort of like George did that night about Trayvon. Not something I would have focused on. Just reminding the jurors about Prosecutions points made in their closing.
