Criminals all illegally carry. No permits, no nothing. It only makes sense to arm potential victims, too. Levels the playing field.
Guns for everyone! It's not right that just the bad guys have them.
How could the potential victims not be armed without this law? They could easily go get a permit if they wish. It isn't like this law makes it so that potential victims that didn't want a gun for the sake of not wanting a gun will suddenly go get a gun. Most likely, those who wanted a gun prior to this probably had a gun.
Arkansas law now says you're committing an offense, only if you carry with intent of using the gun unlawfully as a weapon against a person.
IOW, if you just have it in your pocket, or in a holster, you're not committing an offense.
It makes open carry or concealed carry, legal. You're only breaking the law if you threaten somebody or shoot somebody. Which is the way it ought to be.
can you carry a gun into a Bank? or School? Can you carry you firearm into the AR statehouse, or into a Arkansas court room?
Trayvon supporters should converge on Arkansas heavily armed and host a rally
That is an excellent idea!
Considering most of those people propably lost their right to carry/own, it would be a great cost effective way to get some criminals off the streets.
want to see gun sales go up again
it will as long as these idiots like al sharpton and Jessie Jackson keep running their stupid mouths
I saw way to go!
people are going to defend them self at all costs
What part of the Constitution mentions law-abiding citizens and concealed carry?
Shall not be infringed.
Pretty powerful words, that have real meaning, that cannot be interpreted any other way.
