This thread is based on a false equivalence:

Zimmerman shooting Trayvon = any random black guy shooting any random white kid.

The equivalence is false because the whole issue with the Zimmerman shooting was that he wasn't charged. He shot Trayvon after being a pathological stalker douchebag and then was sent home. Was this black guy in the news report not charged? I'm pretty sure he was, and that there folks is the difference.

I find this case a tragedy and I hope Molly's family gets the justice they deserve.

I must say I find it interesting to note that Molly (at 15) is labeled a child, while Trayvon (a few weeks past 17) is labeled an adult.
