Health Care Premiums Jump Almost $2,000 Since Obamacare Passed… Obama Touts $100 Rebates… | Weasel Zippers

According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, health care premiums for the average family cost $15,745 in 2012 -– an increase of $1,975 from the $13,770 they cost in 2010, the year President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law. Employees pick up some, but not all, of that cost.

SURPRISE it didn't fix crap...

I didn't, when does it come? Wait, $1975.00 minus a $100 rebate. What, is this Obama fuzzy math again. Oh that's right, he said on Letterman, one of those talk shows that he had a hard time with math in 7th grade.

The 80/20 rule is ridiculous.

Basically it is an assault on the concept of insurance.

I don't purchase insurance to get my money back that same year. I purchase insurance to cover possible, but not likely, future scenarios.

Why do you say that. You asked if anyone received a rebate check and I replied that I did.

If insurance costs climbed nearly $2,000 since it was passed, and you get $100 of it back.. and you're reply is you're glad to get the money back, then I have to ask what you think of the extra $1900 that's being paid to the insurance company now that wasn't being paid several years ago when it passed.

You do realize that Obamacare was promised to drop the premiums, not raise them, right?

Holly crap you didn't read it? The democrats want you to read it so when 2014 elections come around you will remember the $100 fondly and vote Democratic in 2014. A cheap vote, all it takes is $100 to buy votes.
