HUD's New 'Fair Housing' Rule Establishes Diversity Data for Every Neighborhood in U.S. | CNS News

Unless I missed it, I didnt see who is paying for this. I imagine its more of our tax dollars going to waste. Correct me if Im wrong.

How in the hell is this not a complete waste of money? Do we really need to spend millions or more for this? What the heck is the point?

They say the goal is this:

Quote:
The goal is to help communities understand "fair housing barriers" and "establish clear goals" for "improving integrated living patterns and overcoming historic patterns of segregation."The goal is to help communities understand "fair housing barriers" and "establish clear goals" for "improving integrated living patterns and overcoming historic patterns of segregation." - See more at: HUD's New 'Fair Housing' Rule Establishes Diversity Data for Every Neighborhood in U.S. | CNS News
What is there to understand? Some neighborhoods are very expensive, some not so much, some middle of the road, some poor. Thats the way it works.

And it appears they want to the poorest to be able to afford to live in communities they would never be able to unless they win the lotto. What does that accomplish besides lowering the standards, safeness, cleanliness of that neighborhood or community? Oh, it gets more "minorities" in there.....Why is that such a big damn deal to some? You can either afford to live there or you cant.

I wonder how well this is going to work in places like Fairfield Country here in CT, most of which is very expensive. Hell, I wish I could afford to live there but cant. But I certainly wouldnt want to see low income type housing pushed into some of these areas.

The NAACP and some of these other groups are a complete waste of space and if they are guiding the waste of our tax dollars, frankly, that ticks me off.

Ridiculous. If you can't afford to live there then you can't live there. No town should be forced to build/have HUD housing. It is BS and it brings down the property values which is not fair to those that have worked to live there.

Exactly. Wed love for the entire country to be equally wealthy across all races and what not but its not reality. Why not instead, focus outreach on parenting, upbringing, education, etc for the poor instead of wasteful social engineering crap like this?

Because that would take actual work.

And it doesn't give lefties that warm and fuzzy feeling they get when they sit around and have a circle jerk about what righteous people they are.

Oh, but they are being forced to. HUD is determined to cram "affordable-housing" everywhere it can and they are getting very creative with their rule-making.

To "improve integrated living patterns"

Is this some convoluted ideal? As if artificially placing black families in the middle of predominantly white communities will bring up their standard of living? This is nothing but an antagonist measure and, potentially, a very destructive one at that.

Busing kids 20-30-40 miles for school for 40 years didn't work. So now another waste of money liberal program- move the whole family.

According to CNS news? Did you also quote Debkafile to embolden your argument?

This is all about the destruction of the middle class.

There is less and less reason to work for a living and try to live right. You'll live like the welfare class -- you can have nothing more than the laziest welfare recipient.
