Are you saying they hired more people during the bad economy but now will cut their hours as the economy improves? How does that make any sense to you?
Because they are more expensive to employee now

The hiring has been consistently going southernly(in the downward position) because upper to upper upper management(CEOs, CFOs, COOs,etc) figured out that they can get the same work done with fewer workers than they had before the recession. The smaller businesses have to keep up with the multi-nationals, so they have to use a smaller, but overworked workforce to be able to compete. This is about fat checks going to the CEOs of the mult-nationals, and staying afloat for the small business folks........this ain't about Obamacare......Obamacare is just a smokescreen.

This appears to be "self-serving nonsense".

ALL of the net 195,000 new jobs created last month were of the part-time variety as IBD and other media outlets reported; that article is garbage.

Actually its the unions who went to Obama saying that workers hours where being reduced as we got closer to implementing ACA. From what I have seen they just are not hiring much any more. basically its caused the cost of future labor goi gup because it was government to out out stat that average employer healthcare cost 13+K per employee last year. that a big rise in cost to cover a additional employee since mandates raises that cost. I think the fact that we have the slowest job growth of recovery form any recession tells the tale even with historical numbers of non-participation rates. Also we see more contract and part time in those job numbers.

Which is why I waited 11 months for a full-time job last year. A part-time job for me will only be a second income, not primary

Bullcrap. Had a friend that works for Target that just got her hours cut today, along with about 20 others.
YOU are what's killing the USA.
